Buddy Holly is handed a Late Music artist
Holly would have turned 75 this year, and we all remember what a fantastic singer he was. Of course, the younger decades might not recall him, and although he lives through his tracks it is seldom heard playing anymore. He got one of the leading presents for his 75th birthday this year though, as we remember him, we wanted to perform a little bit more than just provide him a minute of silence. A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was provided just for him. It might not have his feet or hand prints, but it positively worth the look since it is new and his name is right on the star. We hope this will attract his interest wherever he will be.
His widow, Maria Elena Holly was noticed making one of the most ratified public appearances out there for this affair, and most likely this event only. She is not often out and about, and perhaps it might be because of her age. This is unknown, but for whatever explanation she made sure to show up to this precious moment for her partner. Gary Busey was also one of the many visitors during this moment also. He was the one that performed Holly in the movie: ‘The Buddy Holly Story’ and he was then chosen for an Oscar because of his impressive performance in the movie.
